Pediatric functional medicine telehealth · PA and NY
Pediatric functional medicine from home.
Families in Pennsylvania and New York can use secure telehealth for many Calm Wellness visits. We use video visits, home lab kits when appropriate, local lab draws, and clear written plans to make care practical.
Where telehealth is available.
Calm Wellness offers telehealth for families in Pennsylvania and New York when clinically appropriate. Our in-person clinic is in Morgantown, PA. Families from other states can drive to the Morgantown clinic for in-person care, but telehealth availability depends on state licensure.
If you are wondering whether we can work with your family, start with the free consult. We will clarify what is possible before you book a paid visit.
What telehealth can handle well.
Many pediatric functional medicine visits work well by secure video:
- Free 15-minute consults.
- Initial history review when a physical exam is unnecessary.
- Lab review and interpretation.
- Food, supplement, sleep, gut, and environmental plan adjustments.
- Follow-up visits during GI Reset or 4-Month Concierge.
- Parent coaching around implementation and routines.
For many families, the relationship becomes a mix: one in-person visit when useful, then telehealth for the rest.
How labs work.
Functional medicine testing is often telehealth-friendly. Depending on the test:
- Kits can ship to your home.
- Stool, urine, or saliva samples may be collected at home and mailed back to the lab.
- Blood draws can often be completed at a local Quest, Labcorp, or other draw site.
- Results are reviewed by video and translated into a written plan.
We explain the logistics and cost before ordering anything.
When in-person care may be better.
Telehealth works best when the visit can be handled safely by video. We may recommend an in-person Morgantown visit when hands-on assessment would change the plan, when a child is too complex for virtual-only care, or when state rules require in-person care.
Urgent symptoms, immediate safety concerns, acute infection concerns, dehydration, breathing trouble, severe pain, or medical instability should be handled through local urgent care, emergency care, your pediatrician, or the appropriate specialist.
What families like about telehealth.
Families can keep many follow-ups practical. Kids can stay in a familiar environment. Lab review can happen with both parents present even if they are in different locations. Families farther from Morgantown can still receive continuity while saving the drive for visits where it matters.
Telehealth should make the care easier to follow while still feeling personal.
