Who this is for.

Lifestyle coaching is for families who want a functional medicine lens before considering a complex testing package. It is a good fit for healthy-kid optimization, early-stage concerns, maintenance after active care, or practical implementation support. Common reasons families ask for lifestyle coaching:

  • Picky eating that is limiting nutrition.
  • Sleep routines that need a reset.
  • Questions about supplements, immune support, or seasonal resilience.
  • Food quality, meal planning, hydration, and protein intake.
  • School stress, screen routines, nervous-system support, and daily routines.
  • Maintaining progress after GI Reset or 4-Month Concierge.

What we work on.

The plan depends on the child and family, but lifestyle coaching may include:

  • Food routines and realistic meal structure.
  • Picky-eater support that keeps meals calmer.
  • Sleep timing, light exposure, screens, bedtime routine, and morning routine.
  • Gut-friendly habits: hydration, fiber, movement, bowel routines, and food variety.
  • Immune resilience: seasonal support, nutrient basics, recovery habits, and when to involve your pediatrician.
  • Environmental basics: cleaning products, mold awareness, air quality, and practical low-cost changes.
  • Nervous-system support: regulation routines, transitions, school stress, and sensory load. The goal is a plan your family can do.

Fit and boundaries.

  • Emergency concerns belong with urgent care, emergency care, or your child’s pediatrician.
  • Pediatric primary care stays in place.
  • Active complex symptoms usually need a proper clinical visit.
  • Supplement guidance is individualized. If your child has PANS/PANDAS concerns, severe gut dysfunction, suspected Lyme or mold illness, autoimmune patterns, major weight/growth concerns, immediate safety concerns, or complex medication needs, we will usually recommend an initial intake or 4-Month Concierge.

How coaching works.

Most families start with a free consult so we can decide whether lifestyle coaching is enough or whether a fuller clinical path is more appropriate. If coaching fits, we use visits to choose a few high-leverage changes, build the plan around your real household, and adjust based on what your child can tolerate. This is especially useful for parents who know they need to change something but are drowning in internet advice. We help you decide what matters first.

Cost.

Lifestyle coaching is visit-based. HSA and FSA eligibility depends on the service and your plan. We provide superbills for eligible visits when appropriate. If we recommend a product or test, we explain why it fits the plan and how it should be used.

How to start.

Start with the free consult and tell us what you want help with. We will tell you whether lifestyle coaching is enough or whether your child needs a deeper clinical intake first.
